From the age of 3 horses have been a big part of Fran Knapman’s life. She considers them a vocation not a job. Between the ages of 10 and 16 Fran showed 4h, open and various breed shows. Unbeknownst to Fran, people were noticing her. From that time, until the present, people have been asking her to take care of their horses. Whether healthy, injured, or with behavioral problems, she cares for them as if they were her own. She has the knowledge to care for the 50 dollar pony to the 5,000,000 dollar race horse.  Presidio Farms has become the fulfillment of Fran’s dream of a lifetime; a beautiful facility to keep and care for horses safely.

• Regional and national champions in QH and Arabian breed shows
• Breaking and training of over 200 babies of various breeds
• Instructing of regional and national youth riders
• Judging of many 4-h, open, and breed shows.
